I have a question... My dad has a tax ID number and he said I could use it, do you think I could buy reptiles at wholesale prices?

Its possible... but most likely need to spend a minimum amount or order size to buy wholesale. Also some wholesalers won't sell at all unless you meet a minimum order size per month. If its a one time purchase thing, they won't even bother with you.

Best thing to do, is check the wholesaler websites and see what their terms and conditions are.

You could if you wanted to save some $$$ on imported animals.. I work with a wholesaler, and its not all that fun. Yes you do get some deals, and some sweet offers, but you have to buy a large amount (excess of $1,000 for animals and another $100 in shipping in our case) to make it worth the effort. Now, not all the animals are discounted much), I sell berdies at $30-$35 "wholesale" sometimes even at $25ea only to have my friend add $5-$10 more, to break even and gain a profit. From what I've expereienced you have to purchase more than $5,000 in animals to get you those $200 turtles down to $90ea. Like caiman lizards... they're advertised at $1800ea on kingsnake, wholesale they run bout $1000ea
