Many of you have already seen this male before. This is not my photo. Lance and I will re-shoot the animals when we have time. My promotion and new position at my job has me very busy.
Best wishes to all.

Great animal Steve, Congrats!..
I really like those Black on Blacks!!
~ Mike Russo
Awesome. Have you seen that black one that Roy has? I think is was caught in town in Sanderson.
DAN
Yes, I have seen it a couple of times. I really like it.

The female is even better than the male. It is a lighter grey and solid black large bands, no alternates just like papa.
I took some pics today but they were horrible. I want to post some pics but they need to be good.

not as attractive, as yours but shes unique

Love that dark sanderson.
Would do the alterna dance and scream for about 30 minutes if I found that one.

I am STEVEN OWENS and I approve this message!
I think our goal is to produce locality black on black blairs with ultra white bands and some grey on black blairs.
I think Lance will concur.

Wow! That's a cool animal. Nice pick-up.

Neat looking snake. Thanks for sharing.
I, too, love the look of your animal Steve.....really beautiful...the closest we have is the animal depicted below...a male...from a gravid wc (2001) Palma Draw animal...not as nice as yours, but, a friend of mine caught one very similar to yours in the late '80's right at Palma as well...so I am hopeful....G

Isn't that the one from your book? I like that alterna a lot.
Best Wishes,
SXO792
Steven...very observant....I think it might even be the same picture....the animal looks more like it does on the comp than it does in the book, at least on my screen! Take care, G
Picked up this guy at the show on Sat. Castle Gap male. May be a bit hard to pair up. Can access the land but hard to find a female. Thanks Michael L !
That female t-baby is cool. I picked up the half-siblings(3.1) of the female(turning dark already!)
Good luck

Sanderson in Roy's collection....

What is a castle gap? Is it a Castelon or a Black Gap animal?
Congrats on the nice looking alterna. Which vendor sold it to you? (if you dont mind me asking)
Best Wishes,

check that link. Upton County is in between I20 and I30 about a half hour before they join.
Bought it from Michael Leidner.
It's probably one of the rarer localities even if it was considered a King Mountain animal.
Know anyone working with King Mountain animals?
Steven,
What a beauty...
Later,
Jim.
