I know its kinda early to start looking but can anyone give me any advice on areas that are good for finding salamander larvae, sirens and amphiumas around central Florida? Ive heard of looking along the edges of ponds and streams where there is heavy vegetation for young sirens and salamanders. Ive also heard of fisherman accidentally catching amphiumas and sirens at night in nets and bait traps. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
