Chinese Box Turtle

i need you'r help i saw adult male chinese box at a local pet shop and fell in love with him they say he is atleast 20years old. now my question is what should i really spend on him? i see babys go for $175-200. so what is a good price to pay for an adult male thanks eveyone for your help

Have you checked out rescue organisations before you buy an animal? That would probably be an ethical first option.

Otherwise, you should check out all of the classifieds that you can find in order to get an idea of what constitutes a reasonable price. It's very subjective anyway.

Adults go for much cheaper. I saw one at a pet store in Bradenton, where I live, for $39.99. However, most adults are imported, and have internal parasites, so I'd go with a baby, or an adult that you KNOW is captive bred.
