diggy415 Feb 27, 2008 09:14 AM

Just set up my cages and have my hot end to 93, however it reads 107 sometimes, is this normal? the room itself is 70's or warmer. when i probe the air in the cage on the hot side it's 89's what's going on here.

I think you are leaving out many details.

Do you have a temperature controller set to 93 deg, and the actual temp is higher? Where? Where the controller probe is? Right over/under the heater?

the controller is set for 93, but is reading higher, the actual air of the cage is high 80-90*'s so im confused why the controler is reading higher. The probe for the heat is taped to the inside of the cage ontop of the UTH which is under the tank. Sounded like a malfunction of the unit.
