sunglow black rats.......

wisema2297 Feb 27, 2008 02:40 PM

These are both clutch mates. I believe the lighter colored one is in shed, at least she didn't used to look that light. I have been more tuned into my breeders the past few months so her coloring may be changing but she used to be just as dark as her sibling. Don't mind the poo I was cleaning cages and had a good photo op with him sitting still.

BTW, I remember (sorta) the story behind the sunglows. They came from a gentleman in Maryland? If you know it could you please reply again....thanks.

Love Black Ratsnakes...I remember dwight good had some amazing regulars I wish I had gotten one from those litters. Oh well.

Nice stuff you have there...here is a snake I produced by 3 years of selective breeding, actually two years...something like this...

Albino Black/Yellow/Everglades X Everglades = het Black/Yellow/Everglades X Blotchless Everglades =

I gave to my friend as a hatchling and now he is going to breed him to a corn/everglades hybrid and then give him and all the babies but a pair back to me. Should be fun stuff for me to tinker with in regards to SEVERE color schemes.

I do not know any info on sunglow gene in Black Rats.

I once fell from a 50' tree with many branches that slowed my decent and landed directly on my back on a large rock...

My best friend said...Dude are you ok ?...

I said...Give me 5 minutes...

"No sir...I didn't like it..." R&S.
