Tonight was bad within two minutes of me walking through the front door. I had been gone for two nights staying at my boyfriends house and I figured everyone would be ok.
First, my stepdad called me letting me know that Dude had gotten out of his cage (mysteriously unlocked, I remember checking everything before leaving Sunday night) and was trying to eat my birds. He was able to put him back in a cage.
Second, when I walked in my room an hour later, I got to see Dudette out of her cage on the floor.
Third, Dudette was eating my male bird, Tickle.
Fourth, Sable died. I don't know why. I know she regurged but she had warmth, water, nothing should have gone wrong. Remember what you told me the other day Dave? No big deal with the regurg, so we thought.
I'm a bit depressed at the moment.
