wow! that female white wall is a screamer and so is the spotted python!

Nokturnel Tom Feb 28, 2008 08:41 AM

Thanks Derek, I still think the White Walls are the coolest snakes out there right now as far as King Morphs. Normal Specks are really under rated too.

long time no see/talk whats up? are you keeping any animals etc...
L8r Shannon

jlassiter Feb 28, 2008 01:36 PM

Shannon,
I haven't kept any animals since the Spring of 2006...I am up in Cheyenne, Wyoming working and have been traveling all over the country with my new job....I sure want to get back into it, but would have to hire someone to take care of my collection while I am away from home.
I still lurk around the forum and plan on getting some more mexicana, but I don't really know when just yet.

Thanks, Eddie. She is an '06 L.m. thayeri that I saw posted in the classifieds in August 06. I called the seller as soon as I saw the picture because she was clean, had saturated colors, and was reasonably priced. She was orignally bright yellow and orange with thin black-bordered red bands, but now she has developed a nice yellowish cream color. Her head pattern is psychedelic. She's one of my favorites (good eater, too). Here's another shot taken in fall '06.

EddieF Feb 29, 2008 06:54 AM

Well she's just cool as hell. I wish I could see her in person.

That sulfer lavender looks like mine!

On these posts with many pics, I always pick a favorite. This one was VERY difficult! But I'm going with this one:

Nice post, Tom. Once again, those WW Specks are out of this world! Hopefully the market won't drop out on them so quickly, like the WW Brooks, but it'll be nice when I can actually afford a pair...

Diego

Nokturnel Tom Feb 28, 2008 08:36 AM

Thanks Diego. The thing about a trait like White Sided is you can take it a step further with virtually every other morph. One thing that hurt this morph in Brooksi was the instantaneous coming of the White Sided Axanthic. Many yawned over the White Sided Hypo initially but this will also change when people see mature ones. Actually the Brooksi held at $500 a piece for over 5 seasons which is great, but now they're fairly common. I feel that the snake will gain atention again and that many cool combos will show up in the next few years
