Facts about kingsnakes?????

cantwaitfor09 Feb 28, 2008 07:32 AM

I am the recent new owner of a beautiful adolescent kingsnake, and I'm trying to learn more about it. I do know where the name kingsnake comes from, it eats other snakes. I do know it's immune to rattlesnake venom and copperheads and things of that nature. I would like to know more... so if you have anymore intersting facts about the kingsnake, I would love to hear.

They spend most of their time under the surface of the earth, where they do most of their thermoregulation - seeking warm or cool areas as desired or as necessary.
