I'm really worried but it seems clearly IBD to me... Keep it very far from every other snake, don't use the same tools and keep every boid separate and watch... you need a quarantine for at least 5-6 monts for every other snake you have. IBD is highly contageous and there is nothing to do than euthanize the affected snakes for to avoid them a very long painful time before death.

I hope i'm wrong but unfortunately i saw different snakes (not mine thank God) affected by that awfull virus.

Hope this helps

How long have you had her?
Has she always done this - if not how long has she been doing it?
Has she been subjected to pesticides or extreme temperatures?
Do you keep boas?

i just got home. While i was at work i had my girl take her out of her cage and put her on the other side of the room in a small critter cage. with damp paper towels and she sprayed the cage with water. She also took the cage outside. Ill clean it really well.

When i got home she was wondering around maybe looking for heat. She hasnt been swaying since then. Although she isnt as strong as she normally is, shes's acting normal. Her body temp was cold to the touch so i put some heat on her and as of this moment she is acting normal but a litte weak. her tongue is still coming out and going in slowly though. Her mouth is closed unlike this morning.

What ya'll think?

Can anyone describe the "rattling" sound mentioned in the DeAnne story which is the first article attached to the link from the last post? That article sort of makes it seem like that might be the earliest sign. It would help if someone could offer some insight into how/what to listen for. Thanks.
