I feed newborn dubia and discoidia to my hatchlings. You will be fine

So if I pick out the smallest nymphs of the dubia then they will be 100% fine to feed to 1 or 2 day old beardies?
Thanks for your help

yeah, even a bit bigger than that will be fine, just make sure the roaches are no bigger than the space between the dragons eyes.
Roaches are a great source of food, I prefer them over everything else.

I have a Dubia Roach Colony. I feel there is too much shell for baby beardies. So I certainly would'nt say 100% safe. Even some of my adults don't digest them well and there are lots of undigested parts in their stool.
Thanks guys. Well my only concern is for the baby beardies. I just wasn't quite sure if I should stick to crickets for the first couple weeks for the beardies or just feed them roaches. I have about 600 adult female dubia so if they are fine for baby dragons than I will definitley feed the small dubia to them but if not I would rather be safe than sorry.
Thanks for helping out

Thats strange, I have never had shells come up in the poop.
Also, the Dubias have a softer shell than the Discoids, so it seems that would be best.
Either way, the roaches are going to be better for the dragons than crickets.
Phil
Personally I think crickets are better than Roaches, especially for babies. Much easier to gut load them and no hard shell. Currently I have a Dubia roach colony and no crickets so it can't be said that my opinion is based based on what I have or feed.
