Amel corn not eating

mossman Aug 27, 2003 11:08 PM

I have a 2 yr. old corn snake that I got about 4 months ago. It ate great for the first 5 months eating over a dozen full size mice. Now fro the last 4 weeks the animal hasn't eaten and is very aggrivated. when I open the cage she hisses an strikes at the mice but won't eat them.

I have tried leaving mice in the enclosure at the entrance of her hide boxes and nothing. I have tried soaking in water to see if she needs help shedding. Nothing. At the suggestion of a very knowledgeable person to soak her in pedialyte and that didn't work.

So now I am asking you all what you think I should do. Any help would be fantastic. Thanks

JP
