I have no idea how to tell. I had a big mali, i was CONVINCED that it was a male and told so by the reptile "zoo" and my exotic vets told me they didn't know how to sex a uro... plus if you go on Doug Dix (he's a zoologist and breeder) he has photos of the sexes.. males are usually more black and yellow but then i guess there are "male mimics" which was what mine was b/c she looked like the males on Dix's site but was a female! I didn't realize it was a girl until "uri" started poppin' out EGGS!! oh my that was a surprise..
so NO, i have NO idea how to sex a uro.. sorry

I don't know how to sex it with my eyes, but as far as i know it can be sexed my checking bottom side of the body...area around rear legs...that's how i predict my Taias sex and then vet confirmed it...females have black dots or something, i already forgot...but that's with Hardwicki, not sure how to sex Egyptian
