It may be the method you use to take your chameleon outside. Are you holding the chameleon? Even if your chameleon is in a cage outside he may react to you being there in the ways you describe. Tell us how you take the chameleon outside. Maybe the answer lies in that.

well i carry him on my hand outside, or set him on the table or chair, and then sit next to him, but he always stares at me and like tries to hide,...i see that most of you do it differently, and i would liketo know how! i want my chameleon to enjoy being out of his cage when he does....thanks

Take a look at the previous messages on this topic for a discussion on this. The basic way is to have him outside in a large enough cage/area that he cannot escape from and has enough plants and leaves for him to chose to bask in the sun or to hide in the shade.
If you take him out on your hand and he is not tame then you are doing more harm than good. But natural sunlight is great for his health so the best thing to do is to find a way to get him outside.
I have used methods from large cages (2x2x4 high and larger) to large potted trees under my watchful eye.
Always beware of overheating. Make sure there is always a place that he can get out fo the sun if he wants.
