Gravid girl and a piece of Artwork

RMCADguy Feb 29, 2008 06:47 PM

Hey all, I thought I would post some pics.

I have this female normal that is gravid by a hypo male, I like her because she is quite hardy and a great feeder, along with a normal genetic background. I thought it would be good to outcross some of my hypos, and she was the perfect candidate.

I am going to school for illustration, and I have been observing some of my reptiles and making a ton of gesture drawings of them. Thought you guys might like to see it.

She's a nice looking dragon.but looks rather under weight... make sure she gets plenty of extra food, especially after she has those eggs to ensure she bulks up before her next clutch.

The gesture drawing is quite nice..looks like a monitor of some sort...

OHHH, I forgot to mention. She came to me from a pet shop that had already started breeding her, and I had to take her because she had only laid one clutch, and they were underfeeding her badly, the idiotic person who owns the store says "that if you want a dragon to stop laying eggs, you need to stop feeding her afterward and she will expel the sperm". She is a moron. I worked there for while, and I left because of her idiocy. She threatened to fire me because I recommended MinerAll!

Anyway, she has been feeding fantastic here with me and I assure you I am feeding her all she will eat. She has no parasites, they were just abusing her by keeping food from her.

And I did have her mate with a male specifically to make sure she didn't have infertile eggs, seeing as they are harder for the dragons to lay because they are not as firm as fertile eggs. It was merely a side note that she is also being used to outcross.

Thanks for the concern!

Phil

Starve a dragon to death so it expels sperm...now that is a new one. What did she think sperm will do, wiggle out searching for food?

Glad to hear you took her away from the bad petstore owner/worker and brought her into your proper care. Feed her as much as she is willing to eat, good healthy foods and plenty of well gut loaded and dusted insects (and yes you can use Miner-all LOL)

I really wonder where people get their mis-information.

She is quite the idiot.

She makes up information most of the time. She is a super flake too, one minute she will tell customers correct information, and the next minute, she gives out wrong information, and when myself or one of the other employees corrects her, it hurts her pride and she makes up a bunch of nonsense to compensate.

Yeah she gets it all, she is a great dragon too.
