ScarFace0909 Mar 01, 2008 11:06 AM

I have read that force feeding is a last resort but this baby has to eat. She really is much too thin and i'm very concrened as she is an important part of my future breeding project. the other babies i received have eaten several times and she has refused every time. any suggestions would be a great help. time is ticking

The sub-forums are over looked and your best option is the main forum if you want an answer this year.....
I had success getting non-feeding brooksi to feed after forcing a few tials into them. Use weaned mice tails and feed one every 3 days until the snake gets some bulk on and then feed once every 5 days or so. Offer brained or tiny live pinks inside the hide overnight and eventually, brooksi will get the idea.
Good luck, Jeff
