In the past I have taken Bed-a-Beast and put in in nylon stockings (dollar store) and tied them off to aid in humidity. I just soak them for a few minutes and put them in the cage, usually on the warm end, and one on the cool end. The substrate I used in these particular cages was aspen, and they housed only snakes, and one tortoise. Is there a problem with that material (nylons) being used for that purpose? I hand wash them and let them dry thouroghly before use of course.
