heating questions, would like everyones opinon

i am going to be getting some heat panels(prob helix) for my green trees. my main question is what is the best controller for it? i was thinking about useing the helix dbs/ i heard that some controllers can't sense the heat panels heat because it is radiant. so any imput would be much appricated. thank yall in advance.

Helix DBS will work very well. There will likely be a difference of 1 or 2 degrees between what your probe reads and the actual temperature, I believe it depends upon the size of the probe, its color, it shape, the material...etc (every material captures heat slightly differently. You will probably never find a probe that reads the exact temperature...but a few degrees is nothing to worry about especially if you offer a gradient and stay within physiologic temperatures.
The benefits of the helix are: they are proportional and they turn themselves off if they malfunction.
I beleive Big apple has also a similar thermostat.
