My boyfriend just moved over to live with me finally after two years together and he brought his Dumerils that he bought when we first started hanging out, to live here too. The irony is that when he got her he couldn't wait for her to grow and at 2 years and a little more old, she is pretty small because he never remembers to pick up food! Even when I sent him home with a bag of frozen rats! LOL! Given I breed those rodents for my 39 breeders and subadults, she will start filling out now...
Anyway, it made me laugh, what you said, thinking about how cool it would be if your man bought a few snakes, but in my case... *rolls eyes* it would be another responsibility for me! LOL! Which I guess could be a good thing, because after a year I would claim them as my own! Muahaha! Or I will use them as leverage to get him to build me more rat racks and cages... hmmm...
