It's that time o' year again --

on the hunt for that female who has recently slipped out of something a little less comfortable (her skin...), but was denied the first go 'round. What's a guy to do......

Jerry Kruse

Oh, remember that cham cage I'd recently built? Well it's finally decorated. Not bed, eh?

sorry, forgot the pic and the cham cage is seemingly unable to be see in a rotated format. But you get the idea.

That's neat! We always get stuck looking at the chamelions at reptile shows, some of the colors are other-worldly. Yours is very cool.

This is a small thing, but the tupperware in your photo there with the blue clasps on the sides, just yesterday I bought one of those for each of our snakes, to be used for soaking and feeding. Drilled some holes in the top and they work great, I can close and secure even my biggest snake in there while feeding and I don't have to keep checking on her to find if she's got a mouse out of the tupperware rolling around in the aspen. Good containers, I got mine at k-mart.

Could you post a picture of that rack setup? I just built my 4th rack and each one is an improvement over the one before. So I'm always interested in what works for other people. Here's a 3-level prototype of the 10-level I just built.

When I saw the color quality of the photo I drooled too. This is just about perfect color capture of this animal -- sooo hard to obtain like I did with my pinkish female last year outside in natural light. These anerythristic Martir/Juarez crosses have thrown some funky hues of pinks down the lines -- last year presented me with a hypo-ery looking baby, but my incubator went too high while I was away and two babies were all kinked up -- one of them being that one. I'm hopeful another one will pop up this year. Give me a shout when that itch becomes too much, lol.

this IS going to be a good year. Finally getting this collection rounded out. I love that really white hypo temporalis you've shown!!! Blew me away man -- just awesome. Is your collection done yet?! Seems like you keep adding! LOL. I envy the amount of herp room that some of you all have, which is what i used to have *sniff, sigh* but no longer. Ya don't know whatcha got til it's gone.

I'll take the hint to get a moreso recent shot posted of him... great shot by the way! About those Martir crosses -- the 'pinkish hues' blow me away... my male fed through the winter and is putting on size... although he's no where near as light as yours. My fingers are crossed tightly for you man... patience wins. This will be a good year.
As for the 'expansion' it has hit a tempered halt. The woman has entered the arena and put her foot down. Matter of fact, I had to negotiate by sheer bribery. I am "allowed" to expand in a few chosen areas... I bet you can guess at least one bro! Just as well... I need to focus some of these and after all you can't keep'em all...

Keep those pics coming!

Chris
