Uromastyx sleeping a lot.

I have a mali uromastyx, he is about 7 1/2 months old now.

Once in a while he sleeps for one or two days, waking up only once or twice for a couple hours.

What would he be doing during this time frame? Or, why is he not being as active as he "should" be?
