Moving on...

Well it's been a year now and I was thinking I can start broadening my collection. I've been keeping ball pythons and sand boas (both KSB and Saharan). I just wanted to have some input in what are some beginner/intermediate snakes that I can add to my collection. These are some snakes that I've had an interest in but have put off till I get more experience with the beginner/intermediate snakes: burmese pythons, red-tail boas (I really like the suriname and coral albinos), bloods, and maybe the GTPs/ ETBs, ATBs. Also keep in mind that I like to handle my snakes, I'm not much into the whole keeping for the looks type thing. Which is fine, and I'll probably end up doing once I reach the GTPs, ATBs and ETBs stage. Thanks in advance.

i think red tails is perfect as the next stage up, going from balls and rosies to burms is a big jump

take a look at some of the Pituophis snakes...Bulls, Pines and Gohpers...impressive size, different morphs availiable, challenging attitudes (some of them). CAUTION: they are also addictive!
