A few months ago, my female BCI got loose. We searched everywhere with no success. 4-5 days later, my dad found her in the middle of the night wrapped around her own cage on the side with the heater. I'd say you've got a good "trap" set. I've always found any missing boas at night. Hope this helps and good luck!

im really hoping she turns up! i feel so horrible, my laziness caused her to escape. if i dont have her by friday im gonna buy a live small mouse and put it in the tank. i do a quick look thru my room at 930 pm when i go upstairs and see nothing

she will turn up eventually, i had a corn snake get away on me three times.. the first time she was gone for 3 weeks my mom found her at night near the refridg.... 2nd time she was gone almost 5 weeks, and again late at night near the refridg... the 3rd time she was gone over 9 weeks!!! but she showed up yet again, you guessed it, at night under the refridge... i think she liked both the warmth from the motor plus the water pooled in the bottom... anyways i would bet just about anything shes not far, just curled up hiding somewhere, but youll find her

These snakes are very secretive and nocturnal. When they escape they usually crawl into the tightest and darkest hiding place they can find. They often are found hiding in places you would not believe they could get into in the same room as their cage. If you can not find the snake searching in small hiding places try turning the lights all off when you go to bed and get back up at 1AM and again at 3AM and walk around the house looking for the snake out in the open. With heat turned on in your house the indoor humidity is likely to be way too low for the snake to survive for very long.
Good luck,
Jeff

thanks for ur reply jeff. ill set my alarm and look out in the open. the temps in my house range from 68-75 depending on the weather outside.

Gary,
...Those temperatures are fine for the snake. However, your humidity in the house with the heater running at this time of year is probably below 40% and little BRBs will not last very long in air that dry.

i found her!! im so happy. i went upstairs about a half hour ago to go to bed and i saw her on my bedframe!! about 2-3ft from the tub!! i put her back in and she went straight for her large water bowl. took a few second drink and has been swimming around ever since!! and to make sure she doesnt get out again i put a 10lb weight on top and duct tape around the edges

Now take that as a lesson learned and make the enclosure ESCAPE PROOF!!!!

I even had a boa escape from a locked cage, center lock done but corner latches not done and caught him in the act.....

If it can force it's head through, the body will follow!!!
