Season is heating up R rated!!!

rainbowsrus Mar 04, 2008 12:22 PM

Have not seen any breeding activity in the BCI cages in quite some time. I believe they are basically done and those females that are not gravid will not be getting gravid until next year.

On the BRB front, things are heating up and getting into prime breeding season. Starting to see the activity I've been waiting for. Not just sperm plugs left laying around but actual tail wraps.....

This is Wilma and Fred on leap day (their third witnessed copulation)

Not to be outdone, Clover was being bred by Diablo Monday evening. My first witnessed breeding between two snakes I produced. How cool is that??

And then this morning, I saw Tink being bred by Phoenix. My second witnessed breeding between two snakes I produced, still way cool!!

I once fell from a 50' tree with many branches that slowed my decent and landed directly on my back on a large rock...

My best friend said...Dude are you ok ?...

I said...Give me 5 minutes...

"No sir...I didn't like it..." R&S.

LOL

I'll watch and look for actual copulation....

...how in the world did you come up with a name like Fluffy for a snake? Do you have to blow dry the prey items before feeding or what? I can see the theme of most of your names, but can't think of a Fluffy anywhere.

rainbowsrus Mar 05, 2008 07:44 PM

My wife named him!!!

She says, he's got the white on his back like snow, is a calico like a cat and he needs a catchy memorable name because he's a true one of a kind animal!!!

Besides, he's not the first "Fluffy the snake" Bob Clark's huge python is also named Fluffy!!
