breeding time

has anyone that breeds corns and Kings noticed that the kings breed earlier than corns?
My kings have bred and are working on follow-up breedings and with my corns, I have only observed one pairing.
It was the same the last two years as well. Anyone else notice this?

I can't speak to that - but I just had my lavender female out, seeing if I can palpate any follicles - she hasn't shed yet, but every male in the rack went nuts!
