My female has been breeding since November. If she ovulated I missed it, so what's the next sign to look for? She's basking a lot, eating well, and still has the male in her tank although I haven't seen any mating in a few weeks.

My female has been breeding since November. If she ovulated I missed it, so what's the next sign to look for? She's basking a lot, eating well, and still has the male in her tank although I haven't seen any mating in a few weeks.
Tho there are always exceptions to the rule - if she is eating she's not likely gravid. I'd take the male out and give them some separate time (feed them, let them rest and de-stress) - then reintroduce them see if they'll continue mating.

I agree if she is eating i doubt she is.When she looks like she is going to explode and starts wrapping all over the water bowl then your chances are that she is.
