Sometimes you win sometimes you lose. This time was not for me. I got a WC gravid ghost and lost big time. 7 slugs and no good eggs. Maybe my het pied to het pied clutch will have better results.

gorgeous animal. but to be a ghost, should'nt all the darks be lighter, hazier. she is lighter than "normal" but those darks look pretty darn dark and crisp.

Sorry to hear about the slugs, it can happen, we had very good luck this year and have 94 eggs cooking as of now, with only 4 slugs/bad eggs out of the group. We are averaging around 8 eggs per clutch, smallest being 5 from a whirlwind type female, and 12 from a burgundy.

Good luck next year, by the way.... does that female have a clear shed, doesn't really look like a ghost?

Sorry on your lost.....hard to tell whether a ghost or not but their is always next year..

Who did you get the animal from... Most of the WC gravids this year have been laying beautiful eggs, from what I have heard from others and have experiencing here. We have alot turned onto food already as well.

Better luck next year.

Hopefully the het pieds go for you, that will make up for it.
