Any idea what this might be? I plan on taking her to the vet next week but wanted to know if anyone has seen this kind of thing before.
Thanks

phiff1,
. I can only make some guesses. Tumor? Infection? Cryptosporidium? Spinal injury with secondary musclular spasms? Uric mass which can sometimes cause muscular contractions? Rainbow Boas usually pass mostly liquid urine but they can pass large lumps like many other snakes do. Fecal mass with same muscular involvement as above? If the problem is related to a uric acid or fecal lump it will help to provide plenty of water. Letting the snake swim in a bathtub can also help to pass these things. If it is any of the other guesses you probably will need the veterinary help.
