brindle black rat

Redmoon Mar 06, 2008 09:14 AM

While everyone's posting pictures of their black rats, I'll add in some of my brindle.

I took both of these last night, as she pounded three adult mice. The appetite on this snake is utterly amazing. She'd have taken 5 if I'd let her!

And here are a couple older pics of her.

Gotta love that pattern and coloring!

Some guy had quite a few babie brindle babies at Hamburg for $75 each. I was wondering if that was a fair price?

I was selling them yrs ago for $40 and would sellout ...but now you don't see them much. You can talk most vendors down

black ratsnakes are under rated and therefore under priced. I've seen calicos and lemons for $800 and up!

My only black rats are that brindle, an albino male, the offspring from that brindle & albino male, a hatchling brindle, and whatever that mystery snake was that I got last month. Based on some research, I think it's lavender albino. I also have a whitesided/ghost Everglades rat, and a yellow/Everglades integrade, and a bunch of corns. That's it for the North American rats.

Asides from that- Honduran milks, jungle carpet pythons, Hog Island boas, and a Taiwan beauty.

thanks! These are some of the first pictures that are coming out decently with my new camera. I guess after having it for 3 months, I'm finally learning how to use it!
