RESCUE BOA UPDATE.....................

I saved this boa from certain death and he seems 2 be doing just fine......Do i still need 2 take it 2 a vet even though he seems 2 be fine....

If it looks fine on the outside,you can take a stool sample and bring it to the vet to have it tested.If it were me,I would take it in.But that also depends on your monetary situation.LOL

is this theboa that was almost froze? if so take it in for a culture. it can cost a bit but if it has any illness you will be happy to have a healthy snake. better safe than sorry.

Yeah... This is the tundra boa...He looks good after a week.

So stool sample is a must...

Id take in a stool sample and get a bacteria culture just to see if it has any sickness hidden.

to get a new boa checked out by a vet, especially a rescue. I don't know what area you are in or if your vet knows exotics, but a standard office visit is usually around $40-50. Fecal test maybe another $10 or so. If you call the vet they can quote you how much it would cost.
