i have 2 mangroves one i just got. the one ive had will eat in front of me and the other one wont. does anybody know of a good way to make sure that the one that wont eat in front of me is eating.

feed in separate cages, or take out your long term monitor ,feed the other, leave the room till it eats, then put your long term back and feed that one.

also... its good practice for any new animal to quarantine it until you can confirm that it is healthy and parasite free. by the end of the quarantine it will probably eat in front of you.

well. i put a bowl of hard boiled eggs in there for them to munch on and left the room for about 20 minutes and walked back in to both of them munching down on the eggs. the new one quickly ran when he seen me but he was running with a mouth full of eggs. so that confirmed my question. i saw you were asking about cbb mangroves earlier. im not sure if mine are cb or not but when ever they are breeding ready im gonna attempt to breed them. no promises it will be my first attempt but if it happens ill let everybody know.
