Mojave Desert sidewinder?

A friend mine has a Mojave sidewinder and it has been acting a little bit strange latelly. He has a kind of head bobing thing going on . Like he has some kind of nerv thinggoing on. He still eats fine . He`s keeping him in a rack with heat tape and that paper typ of bedding you can get at Pet Co. Any help would be great. Temps-cage set up ect. thanks russ
