Recently one of our less intelligent cats decided to jump off the balcony and spend the night outdoors, luckily he was waiting outside the front door when I left for work in the morning. Unfortunately we now have fleas.
I removed the bedding from my snakes cage and put in paper towels and so far I haven't seen any in with the snakes but they are all over the carpeted floors.
Both cats have been treated with advantage and we are vacuuming the carpets but it seems like something more is needed.
I know theres things like borax that can be used but I have no idea if its safe for snakes or not. If I remember correctly the borax is ingested and the crystals cut up the fleas insides and they dehydrate and die but it can do the same to other small animals.
we also have fish and leopard geckos in the house.
I would really like to avoid having to use foggers if possible.
anyone have any suggestions?
