Baby-Makin' Music!

harperman Mar 07, 2008 02:00 PM

I don't often post here...but lurk more than is probably healthy. Anyway...I've got this pair of 7 1/2 foot BCC that I've had together for about a month and a half - two months. I'd witnessed ZERO breeding activity until last night.

I had to have a band practice in my living room (where the boas are) rather than the normal studio space because of a complication (and the fact that we're leaving for a two-week tour next Friday). So, I look up in the middle of this really low, bassy song and BAM! That guy is all over her...locked up and all.

I'm guessing it's all coincidence...but I've always figured that constant vibration would annoy the snakes, not get 'em all hot and bothered.

For what it's worth...
Marcus

Might not be a coincidence, I play loud bass music often when I am in my shop and if I am not there much for a couple days courting often slows, I often have wondered if it bothers them, but I am pretty sure it helps if anything. Craig

Well, looks like practice is gonna stay at my house for a bit... Wonder if anybody else has had a similar experience.
