Terrestrial or arboreal

Are BRB Terrestrial or arboreal?

They are primarily terrestrial, so if you are looking at cages, go with a terrestrial. However, from time to time (more than say like a corn snake) they do climb, so I put branches in all my cages. Most importantly though they do enjoy a good soak, so make sure you give them a water bowl they can fit into.

I would describe these snakes as semi-arboreal. In my setup I have about 4 vertical ft. and they use all of it often.

Mike,
I've got many, many pictures of my BRB's in their enclosure. When I get home I'll post some more climbing shots. With these beautiful snakes, it is fantastic to see them basking on a limb (just another reason why overhead heat source is a great way to go).
