breeding question

bigcountry1 Mar 09, 2008 01:37 PM

i just put my male in w/ my female.

fist let me give you some back ground history...the female is huge compared to the male and will eat anything in front of her face.

the male is super picky and only eats 1 pinky mouse a week, he is much smaller than the female.

so i put them together just now, and the famale bites the male! i freak out and remove the male...

is this common for a female to bite a male? i dont want her to eat him...how can i avoid this if this is not part of their mating behavior?

Thanks!

It sounds normal to me. I have had the male bite the female and vise versa.
