What can you tell me about a .....

...Chihuahua Mountain Kingsnake? Are they active or secretive? Do they have a tendency to musk, like being handled? How has your experience been with this snake? I've been building a custom cage and I have a few different snake in mind for the enclosure, it's probably bigger then what this snake need 48x24 floor space.

I think they are a great snake. They are long and slender compared to some other Colubrids. Mine are active also compared to others. They don't mind being held either. You may want to keep them in something smaller until they get bigger. A small kingsnake may escape such a large enclosure. I know a great place to get them. This is where I got my pair, as well as other snakes. Paul is awesome to deal with!

Thanks for the great advice and the link, there is a local place that has a few babies in , and the shop keeper told me the same thing you did.
