Um... could someone tell me what kind of lights and set up is REALLY needed for a bearded dragon? The people that sold us ours gave us all the wrong stuff and cost us nearly 500... -.-

The dragon is around 5 months... Has a calcium deficiancy (back to the dorks at the pet store) and she needs more calcium... im already using bell peppers, calcium coating, etc.

Basics:
Your beardie needs a Reptisun 5.0 UVB light that can run the length of his enclosure, if possible.
A dome fixture to hold the basking light (walmart/home depot, $5.00). You can use a regular household bulb for basking, providing the temp reaches 100-110.
Try to use high calcium veggies, should be dark leafy greens, collard, mustard, escarole, dandelion. You can include melon or berries a couple times a week too.
Crickets should be dusted with calcium w/d3. You can also use cuttlebone (for birds), scrape it on to veggies for added calcium.
