PVC Glue for Sintra Carcinogenic?

I was told that the PVC glue for Sintra is carcinogenic. I would assume that we are taliking about it in the uncured state. Anys response is appreciated.

PVC off gases halogen gases, which are a carcinogens.

There are many different things that can cause this to happen.

I think it is safe to assume once it off gasses, it should be perfectly safe.
