Is there anything I can do to make him feel a little better till i get him to the vet on tuesday??

He is having trouble breathing and has a clear mucus looking discharge coming from his mouth(along the sides). Don't know if you can see it in the pics.

Any and All help and advise will be greatly appriciated.

Until you get him to the vet get his temps higher than normal, 92-94, and get his humidity up to 75-80%. This will help but he does need to see a good vet if you have access to one.

When I have had Balls with RI's(a whole 3 times), their temps were 95-96 on the warm side and 85-86 on the cool side, with about 75-80% humidity. Normal temps for everyone else who is not sick is 94.5/84, so what you recommended is actually the normal temp range for the hotside, not what it should be bumped up to. That's just MHO though. Mine are Texas Balls, so they just like it hot

I would soak him(get a small tub w/lid, put about 1 inch of lukewarm water in it, put snake in, put lid on, then put the whole tub back inside the snake's enclosure on the hot side) every day for an hour or so, just so he stays hydrated and the mucus loosens up.

Your name says it all!!! You guys are cooking balls down in Texas. 94.5 is definately too hot for my NC balls. We stay around 88-90 on the warm side and 78-80 on the cool.

Well.. If they didn't like it, I'm sure they would have let me know by now. They eat regularly, shed regularly, have normal bowel movements, aren't overly aggressive or pissy, and are breeding for the second year in a row(one is already gravid). I don't see the problem

To help a snake get over an RI, you want to essentially create a fever, which helps the antibiotics work better(faster metabolism, antibiotics work faster). 92 isn't a fever.. now 95-97 is a good temp for the hot side, and in my 3 snakes that did contract RI(separate times), they did seek out this hot spot. Their ambient was kept at 85-86. They were also kept well-hydrated, which helps keep the mucus from thickening. I know quite a few big breeders who keep their hot spots at 94-95 and their snakes are thriving.

I just recently went through this as well. Raising the temps does help a lot as well as the humidity. Sometimes RIs' can be caused by overstress as well. Make him as comfortable as possible with hide spots. Once I went to the vet and received his meds I continued to do the same as instructed by him. I would soak him in water for a bit as stated in last response so that he would re-hydrate (especially due to the meds). I would also let him run through my hands a bit....not only to monitor any progress that may have occurred (clicking, wheezing)but also to give him a bit of excercise as I noticed he wasnt as active anymore once on the meds. I wouldnt do it too much only because you dont want to "overstress" him as this couldve been the reason in the first place. Just enough to get his JU JU going. Due to the amount of muscle weight he currently had...I also stopped feeding. This may not be the same in your case. (depending on state of condition and weight). Good luck

He has Pneumonia The vet gave me meds that are to be given every 3 days. He was also badly dehydrated so he rehydrated him while I was there. Also removed the "gunk" that was in and around his mouth. He was a very good boy considering.

I had to do the same. Every 72 hours...and a total of 7 vials. BUT........it worked. I would keep him quarantined an extra month even after you think everything is ok with him. Better safe then sorry.
