texas eggs

after a long long wait my female Texas Indigo finally dropped her eggs. Five good ones out of 10 total. This was her first time breeding.

Congratulations,keep us informed of progress. Others obviously infertile? Any theories on why? Good luck with your 5, the world needs more Drymarchon...what excitement (and anxiety) for the next 110 days or so...

The other 5 were about 1/3 the size and obvious slugs. Not sure why, but it was both his and her first time. I was just happy to get any good eggs. Now the long wait begins...

yeah paul, it often goes like that for 1st time drymarchon mothers. next time she'll probably lay 12 good ones. good luck!

How long ago did she shed? My female shed a couple of days ago so it shouldn't be too long now.

I hope you get 5 beauties out of the good eggs.

She shed on Feb 10 and delivered March 10, so a full 4 weeks. I was ready to pull out the little hair that I have left
