One of my girls is doing the post shed thing pretty early this year. I have seen her ovulate and she had follices in her. She is in her coiled laying on her side position. How soon after copulation do you think is possible for her to drop eggs? It just seems way too early!!

If you know she has ovulated watch for her next shed . From that shed about 28 days you should have eggs. If she did ovulate she shouldn't be locking up with your male. If she still is breeding then ovulation is still to come . Still having fun. Claude

She hasnt bred with the male ever since I saw her get huge what I think was an ovulation. Now she is in shed and rolled in a perfect coil on the warm side. She wont eat and will not breed anymore!

Watch for the next shed and start the clock. About 28 days to eggs. Get that incubater warmed up. Congrats and keep us posted .Claude
