those rock. I love that reverse stripe. I might have to pick one of those up if you every have any.
That is some real good stuff there. Great pictures as always. In my opinion one of the most under appreciated boas out there . Thanks for sharing--Kraig
"it" being my admiration. Love those Longis Phil! Great looking animals that you are justified in feeling honored to have!

Very nice longis you have there! Say, I have a pair of Harding line longis, the male has been courting the female for a solid month now, she seems to be refusing (I have not seen a copulation yet)but he is still chasing/spurring/ her. I have split them up for feeding etc...and then continue to reintroduce them, they continue to court. Should I just keep them together until the male looses interest? This is my first boa breeding (Im a Woma/colubrid guy)so any insight will help!

they tend to breed later in the season then most other boas. mine are still breeding but most females reach maturity at 5-6 years (4 is uncommon but not out the question). you will know when the girls are ready longi's present more then any other boa i have seen. even with out a male in the cage ready females will cruse the cage with their tails in the air waging them back and forth. my males usual wrap up females almost as much as tree boas do with 2-3 coils around the female (super aggressive breeders). hope that helps.
