a few pics from late last night...

a few pics from late last night early this morning...

Here is my female Brazilian from Jeff.

My new female African Bullfrog whom does not want to eat, so I decided to aestivate

her and snap the fat blob out of it. The male has been aestivating since 1/14/08.

A shot of my female Macklot's Python before I started defrosting some yummies for her...

and my friend Charles brought some mantis cocoons inside to hatch them out for his

Fisher Chameleon's and I decided to snatch some and set up a little critter keeper for

some of them, they are very interesting bugs to say the least. I prefer Giant

Cannibalistic Water Beetles, but these are kewl too...

more shots from about 4 hours ago after she just ate some viddles.

no problem, thanks for the compliments, the darn mantids are sooo tiny and even at that size are little killers picking off oll the bugs from the leaf litter and stuff I collected from outside...still cold but bugs are still easy to find in the cold weather as long as the ground is niot frozen.

She is a very mellow snake, well except at feeding time.

also another snake with a bad rap. Was a little demon as a neonate, but now just gets a little puffy when I service the enclosure. He can be picked up with no issues and not to mention he is very nice as well...

Yellow Phase Sumatran Blood.

naked pics of you. Every year I put out Mantid casings in my garden as biological warfare against aphids. Every year those Mantids scare me when I deadhead the flowers. I think I'll buy more. It's still a month early now for them here.

They are definitely scary looking little creatures but as you said extremely beneficial insects in regards to pest control strategies for one's flower garden etc...

I can collect the cocoons for you next year if you remind me. I see them when I go fishing on nicer winter days here in Jersey. As long as you keep them outside and they would hatch when you need them.

Don't ever put one in your mom's kitchen window with her plants not knowing what the heck it is, it will hatch in the middle of winter and she will BUG OUT...lol..yep I did that when I was a little kid and well there was a lot of little mantids walking around the house....FRANKIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Seven of us and she didn't even think about the other six. 'cause she had to strip me down naked at the front door to take the frogs and snakes out of my pockets when I was 5 and under she stated to me in conversations about my early childhood. I don't do that any more, but one may find my Snapping turtle exercising in the bath tub on occasion. At least I don't drink any more... hehe.

Poppy, got him when he was the size of a quarter in 2000/2001.

here is an actual pic of me in my snake room...

and yah that's a trick mirror, more enhanced photos LMAO!!!
