Does anyone know if you can buy the pressed-style reptile carpet in bulk, uncut? I prefer it as a substrate - easy, but better to look at than newsprint.

Check at Lowe's or Home Depot. I used to use it, I bought it at a Fred Meyer store...they have it in green, used as outdoor carped. You can buy big chunks and cut to the size you need for your cages.
You might also want to try boating stores.

Is that the pressed, kinda felt-like stuff, or astroturf? I used to get astroturf for lizards at home depot, but I've never seen the other stuff in bulk...maybe I'll try lowes.
yes, the pressed felt like carpet...was called outdoor carpet at Fred Meyer.
