I received this pair of adults from Jeff last week. The male is striking in my opinion. Thanks for looking. Mike Panichi

Nice, Mike! That male is beautiful! I really like the yellow/butter-cream color. Those ought to produce some nice neonates this spring.
-Cole
Nice Mike. I was wondering when/if you would post the adults you alluded to.
The male is nice looking. Thinner saddles to him, and I like the light yellow he is showing too. Good for you, you'll enjoy working w/ them.
Are those Cherry co.?
Bighorn co.

Yeah they are the Cherrys. Here is an 06 I picked which was also bred by Jeff. He's on fuzzies now and eating like a madman.

Good looking Cherry co. multistrata Mike.
-Dell
Hey Dell... first off that is a screamer Bighorn... second that syspila above is amazing as well! Great animals.... again!
Chris
Thanks Chris, really glad you like the Bighorn animal.
Here is different female, but still Bighorn co.

And this is another Bighorn female but from 2007. This is her first showing on the forum. -Dell

Mike, I just brought all my Pales and Reds out of burmation the other day, so I'm a few months away from eggs. I'll let you know when I get eggs and neonates.
I appreciate the interest.

This is one of the males that I'll breed to some females.

thanks and sounds great. Mike Panichi

I have this funny image of you Mike, being the giant you are, fussing with the little worms that will hatch out of those inevitable eggs. Hah! These small milks are toughies so I've heard, and am looking forward to my first breeding of syspilas next year. We'll have to swap new techniques if Jeff H's instructions don't work fer us, lol. Kudos on the little eye candies.

thanks Jerry. Sorry I didnt stay and chat with you at the LI show. It was way too crowded for my taste. I was there to pick up my rancos(bought 12 more, ouch!) and I got the hell out of dodge. We'll get together one of these days. Mike

What the hell's a RANCO? Anyway, YEAH, I thought you were avoiding me there for a moment particularly since I hadn't gotten a return call since our last abbreviated conversation. It's all good bro, no worries. I know how it is with having children especially, NO TIME anymore as it mostly goes to them after work is over with. Tell 'em Russo. But tht show was maddening -- I got there just before 10am and it was pleasant, but by 11am, well, you know. Worse than a nightclub. So let's hang sometime -- a few brews and some hot wings it is. Glad you're back to the colubrid side old friend!

that is a killer red by the way. Actually Jerry Im embarrased to say I didnt save your number in my phone and I erased your email. I have one idiot friend who insists on blasting me with forwards all day every day and I sometimes erase emails that I shouldn't by mistake. I am sorry about that. If you could, email me your number again or call. Thanks alot for understanding. That show was out of control, I was feeling like crap and I just wanted to pick up the thermostats and get the hell out of there, LOL. Yeah its good to have colubrids again, I'm liking it. The rancos are just different thermostats. I have 22 four foot cages each controlled by their own individual Helix or Ranco. Way overkill you ask? Yes......way! I like my temps exact and this is the only way to do it when you're stacking cages. Not to mention the other racks I have. Here are a few shots of my room. The Rancos are on top of the cages. Its no wonder why my electric bill is so friggin high. SCPD probably thinks I'm growing weed in my basement, LOL. Take care and hopefully we'll speak soon. Mike

Sweet mother of Abraham Lincoln, your basement!!! It looks like Gary Sipperly's old place, or at least the start of it! Jesus H. Christ! But it looks good. My e-mail addy is Mbshop@aol.com. SCPD is wayyyy too busy counting their fat paychecks to be worried about your smoldering electrical wires. But those coca leaves could raise some eyebrows though -- just kidding!!! Shoot me an e-mail and we'll hang out sometime. Any more pics you could throw up in here big guy? My male syspila (and by the way, how does everyone pronounce SYSPILA? I've heard three different variations so far, and it's been an on-going discussion between Dan Krull -- the alterna rush dude -- and myself for some time now) vomited his meal the other day and this was a first. He's coming into a shed, but I'm gonna keep my eye on him. His fecal matter looks fine as well. Weird. It may be that, since I do not use a heat medium (i.e.: Flexwatt or heat cable), the area they are situated must've gotten a bit too cool when the temps dropped a few days ago. But this is VERY unusual for my collection, as I have not experienced a regurge since wayyyyyy back in 2001/2002 when one of my former female Indigo snakes ate a large meal the day before introducing her to a monster male. She was not receptive, and he was a bulldozer. She got way too stimulated and puked. But this syspila regurge has no precipitant, so with raised eyebrow I will employ Flexwatt for my racks, await his molt, and offer a single small fuzzy and observe.

Zowie!!,......Jerry, again!,......awesome photos of that "thrilla' syspila"!.......very nice!
Oh, and yes!,.....Mike's setup DOES look pretty much like Gary Sipperly's facility. BTW, what the heck ever happened to him??, I had some animals MANY years ago that I acquired from him, but I haven't heard a THING from him, or about him in years. I don't guess "San Diego Reptile Breeders" is still around, is it?
