Foolishness

Boneiface Mar 12, 2008 03:39 PM

Last year in Jersy City a young man took his lg. Python for a walk up town, he thought it would be a good Ideal to stop for a hair cut, when he enter the barber shop, an oldre man sitting in the chair getting hair cut died of a heart attack!
Now the D.A. is pressing reckless homicide, the dead mans familty are suing, and the snake was put down by animal control.
If this foolishness keeps up, what do you think will happen?

Many years ago I had a burm that was tame as a puppy, never struck. Sometimes she got fed turkey drumsticks, always by hand and never constricted. Would just open her mouth take the drumstick and work on swallowing it. Amazed many people with that trick!!

ppeople need to stop showing off, those who think they are special because they can bring a big snake out in public shouldnt own big snakes.

on occasion i bring a ball or corn to big outdoor events but i dont do it to show off, i usually bring them so kids can see and touch them so they see the possitive side and not just what they see on tv

Sadly I think it is obvious what will happen as it is happening all around the country at this very moment. More and more and more states and municipalities and even the federal govt. are shutting down the legal opportunities for reptile (and other exotics as well) ownership. I see no end in sight to this process.

Every time someone "shows out" another nail is sunk into the coffin lid of private animal ownership and yet still it continues fueled by either stupid or just dont care.

I fear that this particular snowball has picked up so much momentum now that stopping it may be a foregone conclusion.
