when after laying should my female be ready to breed agan so that i get a good fertile clutch?

something like 2 weeks or 3. you can show her a male, beginning 2 weeks after laying, and look at her reaction. if she remain neutral light brown color, and don't gape her mouth toward the male , she is probably ready.if she turn black with bright orange banding and gape her mouth, she is not yet ready, try again in several days....
