Impulse decisions...

cn013 Mar 12, 2008 07:52 PM

Went to a show to just 'pick up' a couple of pre-purchased snakes... swore to myself (and the girlfriend!) that unless I saw any SFMK's I was not even considering anything else. Then I walked by her...

I think it was a valid exception!

No jury of herpers would convict you of a crime. What a beauty -- good luck with her.

Thanks alot... the jury wouldn't be the source of my worries -- lol -- it's the woman!

Repeat after me... Hi, My name is Chris, and I like snakes..

Seriously though, you are building a very nice collection of animals!

Your equally guilty friend...

"... and I like snakes." Yeah thanks for that Mike! Maybe I should 'attend' meetings for this! Appreciate it... good luck w/ your ridiculously impressive alterna collection as well!

Sometimes you just have to make an exception!,........ain't that "peachy"!!,.......I guess the girlfriend knows it's not an aberrant SFMK,.........right?..LOL!

Funny thing... she looked @ me and said it kinda looks like an alterna -- amongst her favorites. I just smiled and filled her in on the ride home! I'm just glad she hit it w/ the mexicana complex. Though she doesn't have much time for my greeri since, "they're not as pretty as some of my other alterna." She really does listen to me ramble off incessantly about them, for the most part!

**** Boy, can I relate to that in a BIG way!!!, most people(including girlfriend) act like they're paying attention to me, but after a couple seconds, I usually see a "glazed" look in their eyes that says,....I'm lost here!.........imagine that, Chris!..huh?

Hah! Made ya look! Seriously bro, VERY nice thayeri. But you do have the beginning of what can be considered OCD symptomotologies -- I have a couple colleagues in the greater Florida area -- I COULD refer you. LOL! Take care of him/her, and i definitely wanna see progress on that one.

I believe I'm fairly comfortable with the self-diagnosis Jerry! I have but one thing to say in defense -- I tried! LOL... anyhow the real trick is just having her and patiently waiting for an equally striking mate, if one at all. Now man if you'll excuse me I need to go and wash my hands...

Nice impulse!

I saw a few at the Tampa Expo, made me look twice.

APLAXAR Mar 13, 2008 08:48 AM

Theres no impulse with Thayeri, they are magnetizing.

Dependant on how early you were there on Saturday -- this very well might have been one of them! With a table full... and even some very nice other thayeri -- she stood out. I had no choice I say!!!

Thanks!
Chris

Yes it can be quite difficult to pass some thayeri by. When I go this guy I needed another thayeri like I needed a hole in the head but got him anyway. Glad I did. he is one of my favorite snakes in the collection

Yeah well had there even been a male similar to yours I bet I'd have come home with a pair as opposed to just this solo girl! Very nice!
