But i never catch em doing anything else....are they just spooning or is there a chance they managed to actually have mated at one time? I am not able to monitor them for 8 hours during the day.

It's possible they have already copulated. My amazons tend to do this also. How old is the yellowish one? It looks like it's going thru color change! The markings are so purple!

that is the male and right around 24 Mo. He has been that color for some time now. The camera I have does not show their true colors though. They split up today after 2 days. I'll just split them up and monitor for signs that there might have been a union.
